Black Swan Temple & Farm — A Private Spiritual Association

Black Swan Temple & Farm is a sanctuary devoted to the sacred path of remembrance, healing, and divine service.

Rooted in the living legacy of the Temple of Isis and the Church of the Essenes, we honor the wisdom of the ancient Mystery Schools of Egypt, the cosmic harmony of the Neteru, and the Christic light of the Essene way. Through our devotion to these sacred traditions, we walk the Priestess and Priest path — where spirit and matter, love and truth, ritual and revelation are one.

We affirm our right, granted by the Creator and protected by natural law, to gather, worship, teach, heal, and serve in the private domain, free from interference, regulation, or oversight by external authorities.

Black Swan Temple & Farm exists not as a public entity, but as a sacred and sovereign space — a vessel for transformation and alchemy, a field for ceremony, and a temple for awakening.

Purpose

The purpose of this Association is to:

  • Provide a sacred sanctuary for spiritual practice, sound healing, ceremony, and holistic living

  • Offer teachings, retreats, and transmissions aligned with the Egyptian Mystery School and Essene lineages

  • Support the awakening of the divine human through sound, ritual, breath, movement, sacred oils, plant allies, and community

  • Operate in the private domain as a ministerial body, offering services and healing arts to its members

 

Spiritual Lineage

We acknowledge and honor our spiritual inheritance from:

  • The Temple of Isis, lineage of the Egyptian Priestesshood and Neteru

  • The Church of the Essenes, rooted in the teachings of divine communion, ascension, and sacred service

This lineage flows through us and is expressed through our work as a continuation of the Mystery School tradition.

Nature of the Association

This Association is private, spiritual, and non-commercial in nature. It is formed under the universal right to freedom of religion, belief, and association.

Membership is by invitation, consent, or initiation — and all teachings, rituals, and services are offered only to members who have agreed to the sacred covenant and values of this Association.

 

 

The Temple received it’s name when founder Heather Salmon was ordained as an Essene Minister in 2005 and was gifted two Black Swan statues.Clearly a sign, the Black Swan has several connotations

First there is the children’s story of the ugly duckling. 

You may recall that there was a among them a black swan who didn’t know she was a swan but thought that she was an ugly duckling as all of the rest of the ducks looked all same. Then one day, the “ugly duckling” grew up and discovered that she wasn’t an ugly duckling at all, but a beautiful swan! This is a beautiful metaphor for the transformation that is created on our path of Awakening

There is also the Black Swan “Theory” that is used to describe “an unpredictable event that defies prediction” and has a major impact!. These events are usually characterized by “hindsight bias” meaning that there is a tendency to believe that the event was predictable based on knowledge gained after the event occurred. 

As we Awaken we are able to utilize our higher senses and abilities to create what might seem like the “miraculous.” A Course in Miracles states that miracles are merely “corrections” for things that we erroneously thought we “true.” It is the mission of the Black Swan Temple t inspire greatness and a sustainable, just and peaceful human presence on earth..

The third aspect of the Black Swan comes from the Egyptian pantheon, On 10/10/10 Black Swan Temple founder Heather was ordained into the Temple of Isis and became a priestess of Nuit, Isis and Hathor. Nuit/Nut is associated with the night sky and Isis, her daughter, is the winged goddess of 10,000 names.

Meet the founders

Heather Regal Salmon

Black Swan Temple and Mystical Alchemy Founder

Heather Regal Salmon is a visionary mystic, sound alchemist, and spiritual teacher devoted to sacred service, planetary healing, and soul remembrance. An ordained High Priestess in the Temple of Isis and Essene lineages and a practitioner of Ancient Egyptian Shamanism, she is the cofounder of the Black Swan Temple on Maui—an off-grid eco-sanctuary where she and her husband Donny Regal guide transformative retreats, Mystery School initiations, and sacred pilgrimages to Egypt.

Of Jamaican and Celtic heritage, Heather’s diverse ancestry informs her deep reverence for nature, ancestral healing, and the sacred feminine. She was born in Toronto to a lineage of pioneers—her father, Dr. J. Douglas Salmon, was Canada’s first Black chief of surgery and president of a medical staff. Her mother, Beverley Salmon, was Toronto’s first Black female city councillor, a co-founder of the Urban Alliance on Race Relations, and the first Black woman to serve as an Ontario Human Rights Commissioner. Beverley was awarded both the Order of Canada and the Order of Ontario for her groundbreaking leadership in social justice and equity.

Heather’s personal journey has been equally dynamic and inspiring—from producing international NBA events to a successful career in Hollywood as an actress and model—before fully dedicating herself to spiritual leadership and the healing arts. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of Toronto and blends ancient wisdom with modern practices including astrology, yoga, energy healing, and plant-based living.

Alongside Donny Regal, Heather co-authored Moon Ritual Alchemy and the Moon Ritual Alchemy Journal, as well as the World Fusion Plant-Based Recipe Book, inspired by their retreat cuisine. She is also a contributor to Rise Amazing Woman Rise and Lead Amazing Woman Lead, and has produced numerous award-winning sound healing albums and short films.

Heather’s work continues to touch and uplift a global community through her teachings, music, and ceremonial artistry—inviting all who are called to awaken their inner mystic, embody the alchemy of love, and walk the path of beauty, truth, and transformation.

Donny Regalmuto

Black Swan Temple and Mystical Alchemy Founder

Donny Regal is a visionary sound alchemist, spiritual guide, and accomplished music producer with over 40 years of experience in devotional music and transformational arts. A true renaissance man, Donny is a certified Life Coach, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, and practitioner of NLP, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Thought Field Therapy. He is also the developer of The Lovers Language, a conscious communication system designed to deepen connection through tantric and compassionate practices.

As cofounder of Black Swan Temple and Mystical Alchemy Sound Healing, Donny brings a unique blend of spiritual insight, emotional intelligence, and sonic mastery to everything he creates. A self-taught keyboardist, he has produced dozens of acclaimed spiritual and new age albums and has offered musical support for sacred ceremonies, ecstatic dance, tantric pujas, and transformational events for more than 25 years.

Together with his wife and creative partner, Heather Regal Salmon, Donny co-authored Moon Ritual Alchemy and the Moon Ritual Alchemy Journal, as well as the World Fusion Plant-Based Recipe Book based on their retreat cuisine. From their off-grid sanctuary on Maui, they offer sound healing journeys, retreats, Egypt pilgrimages, and online initiatory experiences that awaken the soul and activate the alchemy of love.

We are a tropical organic farm/eco-sanctuary, where we are proud to grow fresh and organic vegetables, fruits, herbs, flowers and so much more from our edible landscape gardens and food forest. 

This practice supports not only healthy soil by avoiding toxic pesticides, herbicides and fungicides at all costs but also encouraging a much more wholesome, nutritious and holistic diet and lifestyle.

 

 

Here at Black Swan Temple, we are on a water catchment system,

 

The process of collecting and storing rainwater. This means that we rely on rainwater for all our needs! Our two water catchment tanks can hold 25,000 gallons of water which are then pumped throughout the property for our daily needs. 

For this reason, we are always mindful of our water usage so we can reduce the need for imported water. This system can also be a great educational tool for us to recognize the situations in which we consume more water than we need to and how we can be more sustainable (for example, turning the faucet off whilst brushing our teeth, rinsing several dishes at once, etc.).

 

 

 

Recycling and Composting

 

On our luscious land, we are committed to the recycling of materials and the composting of organic matter.

Composting is a great way to encourage sustainability in your home, as food and yard waste together make up more than 30 percent of what we throw away, and could easily be composted instead. 

This way, these materials won’t end up in landfills where they’d be taking up space and releasing methane, a greenhouse gas. Rather, they will be naturally recycled into a fertilizer, enriching the soil and the plants!

 

Team work makes the dream work at the Black Swan Temple! 

 

Our WE Program hosts women on a 4 to 12 week cultural work exchange program. 

Our volunteers help us with our farming, landscaping, gardening, cleaning, painting, processings, social media and more!

A true renaissance man, Donny is a certified Life Coach, Ericksonian Hypnotherapist, NLP, Emotional Freedom Technique and Thought Field Therapist, as well as being a highly accomplished keyboardist who works with music as a spiritual source of inspiration, healing, and spiritual awakening. 

He has provided musical support for spiritual events, ceremonies, dances, and tantric pujas for the last 25 years and has produced many acclaimed spiritual and new age albums.

He is highly versed in compassionate communication and is constantly integrating it into his tantric practice. He is the developer of "The Lovers Language".
